Christmas Tree Lighting

November 24, 6:00pm

Let your heart be light as you soak in the Christmas spirit at this free tree lighting event in Viera (about 25 minutes from the inn). The youth musicians of Quartet Movement will be playing as you watch the Christmas tree come to life before your eyes! Music starts at 6:00pm and the tree lighting will begin at 6:30pm. Ocean-Reef-Beach Festival

Spend some time at Pelican Beach Park Clubhouse this holiday season. In a celebration of ocean lifestyle, attendees will enjoy a fun atmosphere with educational programs, activities for all ages, dancing, live music and entertainers, food vendors, Christmas shopping, and more.

Holiday Happenings at The Brevard Zoo

Head to the zoo for some festive fun among the animals! This event will feature encounters with the animals, games, crafts, music, and other fun activities. (Santa Claus is even scheduled to make an appearance!) More information is coming soon, so check back on their site as December gets closer.

Melbourne Light Parade

Soak up the sights and sounds of the holiday season with this lighted night street parade. Enjoy beautiful homemade floats, features from local businesses, music, and even a float just for Mrs. Claus and the reindeer.

Holidays In Space Featuring Fighting Gravity

Head to the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex this season for a holiday wonder – Fighting Gravity. This unique dance performance features dancers defying graphic with optical illusions and incredible choreography. This is an exclusive event you won’t see anywhere else, so don’t miss it!

Surfing Santas

Surfing Santas of Cocoa Beach

This free, festive (and unique!) event is a Cocoa Beach tradition. Dozens and dozens of surfers dress up like Santa and surf in costume! Come on out to Minuteman Causeway Beach and see the fun for yourself. Even if you won’t be participating as a surfing Santa yourself, you can still dress in costume and get a chance to win. Dress in any winter-related costume, come enjoy the surfing, and just have a blast!
