Kennedy Space Center is one of ten NASA field centers and has been the launch center for spaceflight since 1968. Launches that were carried out and managed at KSC include Apollo, Skylab, and Space Shuttle. Kennedy Space Center Bus Tour
Hop on the bus for one of KSC’s daily tours and see some of the most iconic NASA landmarks with an experience tour guide. Bus tours leave every 15 minutes from the Visitor Complex.
You will explore much of NASA’s history during your time at Kennedy Space Center but what is NASA like now and what will it be like in the future? Head over to the West Gallery of IMAX Theater to explore the future of NASA’s Commercial Crew program and the Journey to Mars!
- SpaceX Falcon 9 CRS-9, July 18, 2016 – Launching from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station carrying the Dragon spacecraft to the International Space Station (ISS). KSC will offer a public viewing. Check the site for exact times closer to the launch.
- OSIRIS-REx Atlas V, September 8, 2016 – Launching from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station on ULA’s Atlas V rocket. View the launch from Kennedy Space Center.
