For your first full day in Melbourne, head on down to the beach! We provide everything you need to enjoy the water, like beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, boogie boards and towels. Three of Florida’s Ten Best Beaches, as declared by Southern Living Magazine, are nearby – so there’s no better place for some fun in the sun!
When you get a little hungry, head across the street from the Inn to find a casual place to eat like Ocean 302 Bar & Grill. Or head towards historic downtown Melbourne to Meg O’Malley’s Irish Pub, which features live music on the weekends and is a cool place to grab a bite and start the evening on a high note.
To fill in the time between, there are plenty of unique shops to discover nearby. There’s even a walking tour of our historic downtown if you want to learn a little more about the area. Or venture just a few miles further, and check out the Eau Gallie Arts District with its cool vibe and thought-provoking murals.
Day 2 – Blast Off with a Trip to NASA
Look forward to another wonderful breakfast at our comfortable Inn. Make sure and eat well because you have an exciting day ahead of you exploring the Space Coast!
A national icon for decades, Cape Canaveral was home to some of the most important historical events in modern history and is a landmark for America’s space age. The Early Space Tour is highly recommended and gives you a fantastic look at both the astronaut program of the past as well as the current unmanned space probes being launched today. Be sure to reserve your spot and bring your government-issued ID, as registration is required.
The Kennedy Space Center is an absolute must-visit and is home to America’s famous Space Shuttle! See it up close and check out other relics of the NASA space program on display. See a film in their IMAX theater and even experience the wonders of space flight with an interactive simulator!
After a busy day out and about, head back to the Inn and relax by the fire in our garden courtyard, or take a dip in the refreshing pool, while sipping a glass of wine and delighting in our complimentary appetizers.
Treat yourselves to a romantic dinner at one of our favorite fine-dining restaurants nearby, like Scott’s on Fifth, which was voted the #1 Romantic Restaurant, The Chart House for their magnificent views, or Djon’s Steak and Lobster House which is within walking distance!
Day 3 – Have Some Florida Fun and Well-Deserved Pampering
Get all the energy you need with our breakfast this morning, you’re going to need it! Maybe today you’ll choose to have it delivered to your room so you can dine on your private patio! Florida is such a beautiful state that setting aside time for outdoor activities comes highly recommended. We even provide beach cruiser bikes for you to use while staying at our bed and breakfast.
A short drive from the Inn is 321 Boat Rentals, your one-stop shop for everything water sports! Boats, kayaks, and paddle boards are all available to rent and are great ways to get out on the water.
Dolfun Tours is a fantastic way to see dolphins and manatees in their natural habitats and is loved by many guests. For animal lovers, or those looking to see more of the area wildlife, it’s an awesome experience.
After an active day out in the sun, return to the Inn to pamper yourselves with one of our luxurious in-room massages. You’ll probably want a lighter dinner tonight, so we recommend trying some of the best Cuban food outside of Miami at El Ambia Cubano.
