Growing up in Melbourne Beach, I thought I already knew all that the Brevard Zoo had to offer, but after a recent trip with family, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the zoo is a new, and exciting adventure, again!
You can explore the monkeys’ tropical rain forest, visit rhinos and cheetahs in the savannah, and even hand feed giraffes. For your group’s thrill seekers, you should check out Treetop Trek! With its zip lines, vertical climbs and descents, monkey bars and close animal encounters, Treetop Trek is sure to excite even the most seasoned zoo travelers.
Most recently, the Brevard Zoo announced that it will open a meerkat exhibit in March. In celebration of the upcoming addition, the zoo is hosting the Meerkat Mosey 3k on Saturday, February 15.
