Ryckman Park Pier – Just at the end of our street, Ocean Ave, the sun sets over the river and the pier lights up at night. At the entrance to the pier there is a shaded park with benches and 3 tin-roof gazebos. Enjoy the atmosphere here at dusk. Celebrate your love with cocktails, music (there is a piano player present every night!) and delicious food at Djon’s Steak and Lobster House just across the street.

Walking on the Beach at Ocean Park – Just 200 feet from the inn, you’ll find this beautiful beach, perfect for a romantic walk and time just to yourselves. Come back to your room which will be prepared especially for the two of you with soft music, silk rose petals and champagne. (This is part of our luxurious Ultimate Romance Package as well!)
Sebastian Inlet Park’s Night Sounds Concert Series – Celebrate your love (or engagement!) under the stars with live music, salt air, and nature all around you. All concerts begin at 7:00 p.m. and last about 2 hours. Don’t forget to bring your favorite folding chairs and enjoy lovely music while watching the sun set over Sebastian Inlet. Night Sounds Concerts are held September through May on Friday or Saturday evenings nearest the full moon – how romantic! View the full schedule.

Sunset/Full Moon Kayak Tours – Enjoy a leisurely kayak tour along the Indian River by moonlight. When the sun sets, you’ll leave from Ballard Park, just 15 minutes north of the inn. Get more information.
Exploring Historic, Downtown Melbourne – The two of you can enjoy a relaxing night out as you explore the area around our inn. There is lots to do! You could drink wine & get creative at a Painting with a Twist class (which is located in a gorgeous, historic church) and then walk across the street to eat great sushi and listen to live music on the front porch of Matt’s Casbah. There are plenty of fun late-night bars downtown like Mainstreet Pub. Have dinner at the Dove III, an upscale Italian restaurant with an intimate, romantic atmosphere, attentive waitstaff and made-from-scratch cuisine.
The Chart House – For a romantic and fancy atmosphere, enjoy fine dining with gorgeous water views. Treat yourselves to a chocolate lava cake that locals describe as “out of this world.” The Chart House is only 10 minutes from the inn!
